Job Description

Due to expansion, an innovative pharmaceutical company is looking to appoint a Medical Advisor in Estonia, who will be providing non-promotional medical, scientific and educational support for the company’s products in the areas of internal medicine and rare diseases.

Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD equivalent degree in Life Sciences (e.g. medicine, biomedical science or genetics);
  • Established professional relationships with specialist doctors (ideally neurologists or endocrinologists);
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Fluency in Estonian and English, both written and spoken;
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office tools).
  • Valid Driver’s license;
  • Willingness to travel locally (up to 50% of the time) and internationally.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide medical and scientific expertise for assigned therapeutic areas;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, patient groups and other institutions;
  • Coordinate advisory boards, expert and scientific meetings;
  • Ensure accuracy of medical content and scientific messages;
  • Provide medical education and compliance training;
  • Gather competitive intelligence and maintain in-depth knowledge;
  • Ensure timely response to all medical information enquiries;
  • Report to the Baltic Medical Director (based in Estonia).
