Job Description

A leading Pharmaceutical company is expanding its operations in Bosnia & Herzegovina and is looking to appoint their first medical person. The chosen candidate will be the main point of contact for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in multiple Therapeutic Areas and will provide non promotional medical, scientific and educational support.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree;
  • At least 2-3 years experience in Pharmaceutical industry;
  • Familiar with at least one of the following duties: study design, study evaluation, medical writing skills, expert panel conduct, symposium and workshop management or KOL management;
  • Good organizational skills with ability to work diligent, accurate and under pressure, alone or as part of a team;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Fluency in English and Bosnian, both written and spoken;
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office tools);
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team (e.g., Marketing, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Drug Safety, etc.);
  • Prepared to travel locally and internationally (50% of working time).

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing the Local Medical strategy and Medical activities for the products in accordance to internal and external regulations;
  • Providing Medical training on assigned therapeutic area and/or product specifics;
  • Management of internal and external relationships within area of responsibility (e.g. KOLs);
  • Ensuring consistency of Medical content and scientific messages across various tools and materials;
  • Reporting directly to the General Manager.
