A global pharmaceutical company is looking to appoint a Medical Director for the Baltic States, who will be responsible for the development and execution of medical plans to support the strategic and operational goals of the business.

Requirements
- University degree in Life Sciences (ideally Medical Doctor or PhD in Medical Microbiology, Molecular Biology, etc.);
- At least 2-3 years experience dealing with Medical Affairs activities in the pharmaceutical industry (review of promotional materials, medical education, medical writing, study design, study evaluation, expert panel conduct, symposium and workshop management, KOL management, etc.);
- Experience in an operational management and/or leadership role;
- Strong existing professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Fluency in English and Estonian, both written and spoken. Ability to speak Russian is also desirable;
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office tools);
- Prepared to travel locally and internationally (up to 20-30% of the time).
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement medical strategies to achieve maximum competitive advantage for the company’s products;
- Provide leadership in developing and maintaining professional relationships with the scientific community (physicians, key opinion leaders, scientific societies, etc.), policymakers and other relevant stakeholders;
- Provide medical and scientific expertise in a variety of therapeutic areas;
- Coordinate advisory boards, expert and scientific meetings;
- Ensure accuracy of medical content and scientific messages across various tools and materials;
- Gather competitive intelligence and maintain in-depth knowledge;
- Oversee regulatory and safety activities for the assigned portfolio of products (PSURs, ARs, label harmonisation, etc.);
- Oversee the training and development of the medical and regulatory team (3 direct reports) to meet business needs and deliver quality services;
- Report directly to the Baltic General Manager.
