Job Description

A global Pharmaceutical company is looking to appoint a Pharmacovigilance Country Head to ensure safe and appropriate use of company’s products on a country level.

Requirements

  • Degree in Life Science (ideally Medical, Pharmacy, Biotechnology or Veterinary);
  • At least 2-3 years experience in Drug Safety / Pharmacovigilance within Global Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology company;
  • Strong organizational and process management skills;
  • Fluency in English and Slovak, both written and spoken;
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office tools);
  • Ability to take personal responsibility and accountability.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing medical guidance in pharmacovigilance matters;
  • Assuring compliance with national and relevant international drug safety regulations;
  • Assuring the collection, review, processing and distribution of adverse event information on a country level;
  • Local safety issue and crisis management in collaboration with the Headquarter;
  • Detection and escalation of local safety observations;
  • Educating and training staff within the local organisation;
  • Providing medical safety governance to protect the patients and company’s products.
